No worries
Hi,
And first, sorry that your email didn't get through; what address were you using? I'd truly appreciate knowing, as Christian's retail pretty much lives by email. As for the snares, the are simple to make from Spectra kite string; just get the length right and tie an Overhand Knot or Fig. 8. We charge so much for them because it is a simple job, it is also a tweezy, time-consuming one. Fair leads, Brion Toss |
snares...
Thanks Brion, I tried to contact you via the links on the website... both came back undeliverable...It's not the cost of the snares, it the USA-NZ time-space continuim that holds me back, I fear, however that spectra kite string might be hard to get in this little backwater, I may well be in touch...

I have seen some Spectra Whipping Twine showing up in the Marine Chancelleries here in Seattle, can't remember the sizes but worth a look. When I last needed new snares I ordered like 200 ft of the stuff from Brian and tie my own. The Spectra small stuff also works for several other things where I need small but real strong.

That sounds like the go. the problem with living in a small town in a small country far far away is it can be difficult to get some stuff....
Thanks |
