Can anyone tell me how to tune a mast head 'jumper stay' arrangement standing rigging, and where in the sequence of rig tuning do you tension the 'jumper stays' (first / last etc).

Fitting a sail carrying cutter stay.
:confused: Can someone tell me what is the sequence of events for measuring up, then having made, a cutter stay for a moody 36 yacht.
The cutter stay is being attached to the mast 10 to 12 inchs...

I know that to get a rig tuned correctly the yacht should be sailing as you're tuning, but many people just tune their stays whilst along side. Can anybody give me advice regarding this. For example...
