First, thanks for catching yourself and apologizing. But actually, your post was so information-rich that it was easy to overlook the promotional component. In fact, promotion might, in any event, have been difficult to avoid, as there is so little information available right now on this very important topic. Only you and Eric Precourt, to my knowledge, are producing top-quality deadeyes for Spectra at this point, and your experience in actually using Spectra for standing rigging appears to be way ahead of the curve.
So thank you for being concerned about commercialism, and I certainly hope you will do your best to avoid it in future, but mostly thanks for the information.
