I am looking for chain plate replacements. Any suggestions as to a supplier?

My chain plates are not through the deck, but rather deck mounted doubles; that is, the chain plate is an upside down T with the flat part as the base bolted (4 bolts) through the deck to an aluminum right angle angle which in turn is thru bolted to the bulkhead.

The double part is that the inner (lower) and the outer (upper) shrouds attach to separate pinholes in the up part of the chainplate (the upward pointing leg of the T) and these pin holes which set beside each other laterally in line with the beam rather than one aft of the other).

I have decided to replace the chain plates since I am replacing the standing rigging, and the chainplates are bent aft (probably due to mast raising snags) and the pinholes show some elongation.. (The boat is a Chrysler 22.)

These were apparently fabricated (not cast) and show signs of welding at the junction of the T (it appears that the fore and aft halves of the base were separate plates and are welded into the leg--the seam there is actually indented, kind of a raised seam in which no weld is actually visible, except the ends. It looks like two right angles may have been welded together, as the leg is twice the thichness of the base. I'm pretty sure they are stainless steel, but there is no real magnetic pull to it.

My only source may be Schaefer, they would be bronze but the dimensions and shape of the base appear to be quite different (and larger). Maybe a local machinist or welder? Has anybody else done this? I'm in the midwest so not near any chandlrey places.
