First, quality varies dramatically. Your best bet in the U.S. are the ones made by Crosby. In Europe, check out Toplicht's.
Next, pin sizes, and thus fit to chainplates aren't always compatible. Be sure that pins as well as strength are taken into account.
And last, they will rust, and probably sooner than later. There are ways to slow this down, but the best methods add time and cost, narrowing the difference to steel/bronze.
Having said all that, galvanized turnbuckles can be a wonderful bargain. But take all of the above into account.
