![]() Is there a rule-of-thumb on the number of visible "threads" on Norseman/StaLock swageless terminals? I remember reading that no more than three threads should be visible, but I am looking at a 12mm Dyform connection where four are visible, should I be concerned?

![]() Hello,
Norsepeople and Hayn's will generally screw down almost completely, when assembled correctly. Sta-Loks will vary, depending on wire size. As long as you assemble correctly (not too much core showing, ends trimmed evenly, no galling, etc.) you will always have ample thread buried for ultimate strength. Fair leads, Brion Toss |
