Default Bury Amsteel

Bob,
Thanks for your reply. I thought that may be the case. (72d 18 inches in my case with the 1/4 inch amsteel) If I have to order more line I will.
I can always use it.
The locking Brummel you suggest. Is that the same as the Mobius Brummel that I see in the Apprentice by Brion? It seems the only one he mentions for exotics in the book.

I am thinking of using round thimbles on each end to lash to shackles on the foredeck fitting and the stern pulpit. The ends at the gate and gate hook will be ring hitched.

Is there a recommended size of solid round thimble for this application. I would imagine that you would want to have enough space for proper amount of lashings.(using 1/8 inch spectra or equivalent).
Thanks again for your assistance, and fair winds.
Bob
