Default Possibilities

Hi,
I haven't used Tenex in this application, but it might work well. It is certainly tough stuff -- arborists use it, and use it hard. That coating might cause it to slip on the winch. Or stick when surging, for that matter. These could be safety issues.
Oh, and Tenex is a lot heavier than the alternatives: 2.2lbs/100 ft. more than Sta-Set; and 3 more than Regatta Braid. That's enough to make a difference in sail shape in light airs. This is all speculation on my part, so if you go ahead and try it, please get back to us on the results. Some reason Regatta Braid isn't in the running?
Fair leads,
Brion Toss
