Default Turnbuckles

I've been reading the riggers apprentice, in the versions Loft procedure chapter for table 5, it talks about using galvanized turnbuckles. The price difference between galvanized turnbuckles, stainless or bronze seems to be kind of way off. Galvanized seems to be on the order of 1/10th the price for the same size bronze or stainless version.

So my question is, am I missing something or is there a huge quality control issue with the 1/10th priced galvanized turnbuckles, as the WLL seems to be almost the same between the different types.

Thanks.
