I'll be leaving the fleet well astern aboard the schooner Heron, same as last year. See you back at the JR.

well Yuri was right about that, kicked us on Saturday.

I had the pleasure to sail on Heron with Twig and crew for the sunday race, and what a blast that was. up to 30kts in the squalls , had our mainhalyard block part right after the start, and there are some good photos of Yuri on the bow in a floppy hat getting the jib down too. THe only fool onboard not wearing a foulie jacket !

does it make sense that someone overswaging (running through the kearny 3 or more time) a stay would make the wire more likely to break at the beggining of the terminal ?
