![]() Hello al
All well thus far. Walked about 300ft, and went up and down a flight of stairs yesterday, immediately after surgery. The "physical terrorist" arrives this afternoon. |

![]() Hope your recovery continues apace.
I had a secretary some years ago who put off getting a new knee for some years. After finally taking the plunge she was back on the tennis court for the first time in many years within just a few months of surgery. I hope your experience is as positive. |

![]() Ahoy Brion , sorry to hear that you will be Off Line for a short while , now to get that atrophy out as well .
B T W , was the knee problem a result of a rigging injury ? It doesn't seem likely that playing the Congos could cause a knee problem . Get better soon , hope to see you in 2014 . Douglas , S/V Calliste , Singapore |

![]() Hello all,
And first, thanks for "physical terrorist," a line I am using regularly. Am about to go visit mine in a minute. As you'll see from the posts below, I am back in gear. It would mean a lot to me if you could spread the word on whatever other sites you visit. As for the cause of the problem, it was a rigging accident, of sorts, way back in 19 and 69, when a 45ft. scaffolding tower that I was on fell over. Long story. I am heartened by all your support. Thanks so much. Brion |
